Ingredients

  • 8 ounce wheel of round brie
  • 2-4 tablespoons honey
  • fresh thyme

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Unwrap your brie and place the wheel on a baking sheet with lined parchment. paper. You can also use a brie baker or small skillet.
  • Slice a crosshatch design on top of the rind if desired, and drizzle with honey. Place the brie in the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes, until the center is soft and melted. (bake for 20-25 minutes for larger wheels of brie)
  • Remove from the oven and allow the brie to rest on the baking sheet for two minutes. Carefully transfer the brie to a serving dish and add desired toppings with more honey. Cut into the brie with a sharp knife and serve immediately with crackers and fruit.

How to know when your brie is done baking?
Depending on the size of the brie, it can take anywhere from 15-25 minutes to bake. After 15 minutes in the oven, check the brie by gently pressing the top. It should feel soft and pliable. If you start to see the sides of the cheese ooze out of the rind, go ahead and pull it out of the oven.
