Ingredients

  • 8 ounce round wheel of brie
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • rosemary, as garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Place brie in a small cast iron skillet, brie baker, or on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until soft.
  • Remove the brie from the oven and allow it to rest on the baking tray for 2 minutes.
  • Carefully transfer the melted brie to the desired serving platter or cheese board. Spoon cranberry sauce on top of the brie. With a sharp knife, cut into the brie and serve with crackers or baguettes.

Notes

Do you take the rind off the brie before baking?
No, the edible rind keeps the warm cheese intact and does not need to be removed. If you remove the top of the rind, this will create a gooey brie similar to cheese fondue.
How to reheat baked brie?
You can only reheat brie one time. In a preheated oven of 300°F, warm the brie for 10-15 minutes until melty. You can also reheat it in the microwave in 10-20 second increments until warm and gooey.
