Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat milk, unsweetened
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat, bringing the oat milk to a simmer. Avoid letting the mixture come to a boil, to prevent the oat milk from curdling.
  • Whisk continuously for 2-3 minutes until the cocoa powder has fully dissolved.
    Pour the oat milk hot chocolate into your choice of mugs. Serve and garnish with your favorite toppings.

Avoid Boiling The Milk:
In order to prevent the oat milk from curdling.
 
Use Your Favorite Cocoa Powder, Not Hot Chocolate Mix!
We love using dutch processed cocoa
 
Make in Advance in Crockpot, Keep on Low
You can serve this to guests in a crock pot on low/warm heat.
