Hot Honey Salmon Recipe (Baked)

Ingredients

  • 4 (4-6 ounce) salmon filets
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon (14g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon (21g) hot honey
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Prepare the salmon. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Season the top of the salmon with salt and black pepper.

  • Prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, minced garlic, hot honey, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.

  • Apply the glaze. Using a pastry brush, generously coat the salmon with the sauce.

  • Bake. Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. To achieve a beautifully crisp exterior, broil for an additional minute. Enjoy immediately!

  • Storage: Cooked hot honey salmon can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Any leftovers will make a delicious lunch the next day.
