Originally from the midwest, I currently live in the sunny state of Arizona with my husband Kenny, and our Coton de Tulear, Coco.
In 2009 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune thyroid disorder, and shortly after my diagnosis, I began to develop other autoimmune conditions, resulting in food allergies and sensitivities. Through the process of elimination I realized that I could no longer tolerate any forms of gluten, and in 2012, I embarked on my gluten-free journey. For the first time, I began to heal my gut and nourish my body from the inside out.
I've always had a love for food and was encouraged to recreate some of my favorite recipes to accommodate my new gluten-free lifestyle. You'll notice that not only are all of my recipes gluten-free, but we prioritize using wholesome high-quality ingredients. Health is important without sacrificing flavor.
