Savor the taste of summer with the Hugo Spritz. This delightful cocktail combines elderflower liquor, prosecco, mint, and lime for a refreshing and delicious experience.
Prepare the mint. Strip 6-8 mint leaves from the stalk, and firmly slap the mint on the back of your hand or palm. This releases the oils to make the mint more aromatic.
Infuse the mint in elderflower liquor. Add the St. Germain and mint leaves into a large wine glass. Gently muddle the mint and let sit for 3 minutes to infuse.
Top off with bubbly. Add ice cubes, the Prosecco, and sparkling water. Stir briefly and gently to combine.
Garnish and serve. Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wedge
